Our mission
Youthfully Yours SK is a non-governmental organisation operating in eastern Slovakia. Our vision of our region is made up of Ambitious & Competent young people, willing to develop their community. To achieve this we have set our mission; to develop young people’s competences, strengthen their initiative & social responsibility, and promote active citizenship, social inclusion & intercultural dialogue among young people from Eastern Slovakia.
Our vision
On a regular basis, we raise young people’s awareness of the opportunities available for education, volunteering and apprenticeships at home and abroad, empowering them to participate in various study programmes, training, conferences, volunteering activities and internships. As a sending and facilitating organisation, we enable them to take advantage of these opportunities, providing them with appropriate mentoring and the necessary support.
At the local level, we focus on empowering youth and their ability to actively participate in society. We are convinced of the benefits of non-formal education and experiential learning. To disseminate them, we organize seminars, trainings and other educational activities, collaborate with local high schools, education centers, universities and introduce innovations in education to young people, youth leaders or youth workers.
