The Youth Exchange will take place between 24.11.2024 and 02.12.2024 in Poronin, Poland.
The main theme of the "Film Ecology" is promoting environmental protection and sustainability through producing films focused on eco-friendly practices like combating climate change and reducing waste.
Objectives of the course are:

- Promote environmental protection and eco-friendly practices.
- Raise awareness about climate change and sustainable investments.
- Encourage the adoption of the "Zero Waste" movement in local communities.
- Increase knowledge of eco-technologies like the Green Deal and smog reduction.
- Equip participants with skills in filmmaking to promote environmental causes.
- Foster artistic creation related to environmental education through film.
- Enhance collaboration and teamwork within international youth groups.
- Empower participants to become advocates for environmental awareness in their communities

Who is the ideal participant in the project?
- Who is the ideal project participant?
- Aged 15-17 (for participants).
- No age limit for team leaders.
- Eager to engage in the project activities on the given topic.
- Willing to engage in creative activities, especially film production.
- Open-minded and enthusiastic, with no specific prior experience necessary.
- Group requirements:In particular, the group´s role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives. the secondary task will be to present Slovakia and its culture in an interactive "intercultural night". The selected participants are also required to create an article about the project in SK and EN and provide the YYSK team with pictures from the project.
Important info:
The accommodation and meals are 100% covered by the coordinating organization.
Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants up to 180€.
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.
Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions. Participants shall not proceed with purchasing their tickets without the approval of host organisation.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out individual health insurance, which is valid in Poland.
