Kick-off meeting
We organised a kick-off meeting for Project A Living Dream in Slovenia. This event began our collaborative effort to empower students through sustainable education and innovative learning methods.
The meeting brought together representatives from our esteemed partners, including the University of Oviedo in Spain, Ragina Ltd. in Bulgaria, Smart Idea in Slovenia, Creative Station in Serbia, Nikola Obretenov Elementary School in Bulgaria, and Youthfully Yours SK in Slovakia. Each partner contributed unique expertise and perspectives and participated in discussions and planning.
We focused on promoting environmental sustainability and key competencies among primary school students during the meeting. We defined each partner’s roles and responsibilities to ensure effective collaboration and resource utilisation. Plans for developing digital learning resources and online platforms were detailed to support accessibility and engagement.
This kick-off meeting established a solid foundation for Project A Living Dream.
Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this transformative journey!
TPM & LTTA
We’re excited to share that the A Living Dream project reached a significant milestone in Oviedo, Spain, with two key events: the Implementation Meeting (TPM) on March 24, 2025, followed by the Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTTA) activity from March 25–28, 2025.
Implementation Meeting (March 24, 2025)
The first phase of our gathering was focused on refining our approach and ensuring that the project was on track for the next steps. Together with our partners from RAGINA, SMART, ESNO, CREATIVE STATION, YYSK, and UNIOVI, we reviewed the status of ongoing tasks and discussed crucial areas for improvement.
Key Highlights:
- Review of Focus Group Feedback: Based on input from focus groups, each partner presented their proposal for improving the training modules. These improvements were aimed at enhancing the content’s relevance and applicability to primary school educators.
- Pilot Testing Guidelines: We discussed how to implement pilot testing with teachers and students. Special attention was given to translating the training materials into local languages to ensure accessibility across partner countries.
- Digital Learning Resources: The e-learning resource, including digital badges and educational modules, was finalized for primary school teachers. Partners will collaborate on translating and preparing templates to ensure seamless integration into local school systems.
Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTTA) Activity (March 25-28, 2025)
Following the TPM, we transitioned into the LTTA, where the focus shifted to practical applications, professional development, and shared learning experiences. The event brought together primary school teachers collaborating with RAGINA, SMART, ESNO, CREATIVE STATION, YYSK, and UNIOVI.
Key Outcomes from the LTTA:
- Workshops and Presentations: Participants engaged in several workshops centered around sustainable practices, gamification, and nature-based learning, including a visit to a local school garden and Atlantic Botanic Garden for hands-on learning.
- Collaborative Learning: Teachers had the opportunity to create lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that incorporate the Agrarian Learning Model (ALM) in ways that are adaptable to their school environments.
Field Trips & Practical Workshops: The trip included visits to traditional markets and the Atlantic Botanic Garden, providing participants with the chance to observe sustainability practices in action and discuss how they can integrate these ideas into their own classrooms.
What’s Next?
With the TPM and LTTA events successfully concluded, the project is set to move forward with the next phases:
- Pilot Testing: Final revisions to the training materials are being made, and teachers will begin piloting the program in their classrooms.
- Continued Collaboration: We will continue to collaborate on refining the ALM and sharing insights across our partner countries. The upcoming June 2025 mobility will focus on further integrating the ALM into schools through collaborative activities.
A special thanks to UNIOVI for hosting these events, and to all partners for their dedication and active participation.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides in the A Living Dream project! 🌍
