ARTS
ARTS (Adolescents Resilience Through Self-expression) is an Erasmus+ project aimed at empowering young people (15-18 years old) by promoting emotional resilience, self-awareness, and self-expression through creative activities like art, music, and theatre. The project uses art therapy methods to equip youth with tools to cope with life challenges, societal pressures, and personal growth. By integrating peer-to-peer learning, interactive workshops, and digital resources, ARTS provides a platform for young people to express themselves in supportive, safe spaces.
Vision
Our vision is to create a world where every young person can freely express themselves, build emotional resilience, and drive positive change in their communities through creativity. ARTS seeks to provide youth with the necessary resources to navigate life’s challenges confidently while fostering an inclusive and non-judgmental environment.
Why ARTS?
In today’s world, youth face various pressures that affect their mental well-being, from social media to academic expectations. However, many traditional approaches to addressing mental health among young people do not prioritize creative outlets. ARTS fills this gap by harnessing the power of creative expression to build self-esteem and provide emotional release. Art-based activities offer a unique way for youth to process complex emotions and feel heard in a world often focused on academic or professional achievements.
