Kick-off meeting

On September 5, 2024, the E-Tools project officially began with a kick-off meeting held in Ruse, Bulgaria. This initial gathering brought together representatives from partner organizations to align on the project’s objectives, expectations, and next steps. Hosted by the Bulgarian partner, the meeting served as a foundational moment to build shared understanding and cooperation among the consortium.

The primary focus of the meeting was to plan the preparation phase for the upcoming workshops, which represent a major milestone in the project. These workshops aim to provide youth workers with practical knowledge and skills related to digital tools that can be used to support project management. During the meeting, participants discussed the structure and goals of the workshops, outlined partner responsibilities, and reviewed a detailed timeline for the next phase of implementation.

Beyond logistical planning, the meeting fostered strong collaboration among the project partners. Through open dialogue, collaborative sessions, and informal exchanges, the team built a sense of trust and shared ownership that will carry through the project’s lifecycle. The meeting in Ruse not only marked the official launch of the project, but also established the tone of cooperation and innovation that will characterize all future activities.

Meeting in Košice

From March 10 to 13, 2025, project partners gathered in Košice, Slovakia for an in-person meeting hosted by Youthfully Yours SK. Representatives from ABC and Smart Idea joined the event, which was dedicated to the work of the Validation Committee. The main objective of the meeting was to evaluate the educational program developed during the project and to provide constructive recommendations for its further improvement.

The partners also discussed the relevance and long-term value of the newly launched online educational resource, available at https://e-tools-2835hmj.gamma.site. This platform brings together all the key content from the capacity building workshops previously held online, offering youth workers a structured and accessible learning tool. It serves as a practical reference for enhancing digital skills in project management and non-formal education.

LTTA in Slovenia

From April 23 to 25, 2025, project partner SMART organized a Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This event brought together youth workers from across the partner countries for an intensive program focused on enhancing their digital competencies.

The training aimed to strengthen participants’ skills in using online tools for effective project management, including planning, collaboration, and monitoring techniques tailored to the needs of the youth work sector. A significant part of the program was also dedicated to exploring the use of artificial intelligence in project dissemination. Through interactive sessions and hands-on demonstrations, participants learned how to leverage AI tools to increase the visibility and outreach of their initiatives.

The LTTA in Ljubljana played a key role in equipping youth workers with practical knowledge and strategies they can apply in their local and international projects, contributing to the overall goal of building stronger, digitally empowered youth work communities.
