LTTA in Košice, Slovakia
Between 14-17 October, we met with our partners in Košice during an LTTA meeting as part of the Female STEAM Mindset project. Over the course of the event, we focused on combining science with sports, turning biological concepts into art, and applying robotics through practical activities. We shared ideas, reviewed feedback, and refined the educational content to ensure it remains inclusive and effective. Thanks to everyone’s input, the meeting was productive and helped prepare the tools needed to support students and teachers in exploring STEAM subjects.

Pilot testing with teachers and students
As part of the project, we successfully organized pilot testings in Slovakia and Bulgaria, bringing together teachers and students to explore the integration of STEM subjects with creativity and the arts. Over two days, teachers guided students through hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and innovation. The pilot highlighted how combining science, technology, engineering, and math with artistic expression can create a more inclusive learning environment, empowering all students to excel in fields where they are often underrepresented. This progress was made possible through the collaboration of teachers, students, and partners, making this pilot an important step in promoting a well-rounded STEAM mindset.

Mobility for students in Bulgaria
After the pilot testing, we organized a mobility event in Bulgaria, bringing together students from Slovakia and Bulgaria for a practical STEAM experience. The event focused on collaborative, hands-on activities where students applied their knowledge and worked with peers from different backgrounds. This experience emphasized teamwork, problem-solving, and the practical application of STEAM subjects. It also provided an opportunity for students to strengthen their understanding and build connections in a collaborative learning environment.
