Project Organisation: NECI Cyprus

The Seminar will take place between 05th and 10th of December 2024 in Paralimni, Cyprus.

The main theme of the "Arts" is to promote Non Formal Learning through which representatives of the partner organisations will share personal and professional experiences, contribute based on their competences, work collaborative, irrespective background and develop a programme which will meet the following objectives.

Objectives of the course are:

  • International cooperation between experienced and not experienced Organisations and individuals but also between target group, youths and youthworkers who aim for eliminating discrimination and marginalisation through social inclusion practice.
  • To increase opportunities for youthworkers to share practice and learning of social inclusion and practices from the field of Arts for bridging cultural and national differences, to work with diversity using non formal learning method.
  • To develop networking and to leave an efficient impact for the next Erasmus period on the topic of social inclusion and intercultural learning
  • To develop skills and competences to youthworkers and organisations for improving solidarity and social awareness.

Who is the ideal participant in the project? 

  • Who is the ideal project participant?
    • Aged 22+
    • Have knowledge and previous involvement in youthwork
    • Have basic experience on Tools and KITs of Erasmus+ and practices of Non formal learning
    • Ready to support visibility during and dissemination after the project
    • Have basic skills on digital and media technology
    • MUST be able to communicate and write fluently in English
    • Has a laptop or a tablet
    • Priority to participants with fewer opportunities (social, economic, health, geographical barriers)
    • Will support visibility of the project process and content
  • Group requirements: In particular, the group's role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives. The selected participants are also required to create an article about the project in SK and EN and provide the YYSK team with pictures from the project.

Important info:

The accommodation and meals are 100% covered by the coordinating organization.

Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants up to 275€ (organizers will by the tickets for you!).
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.

Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions. Participants MUST NOT proceed with purchasing their tickets without the approval of host organisation.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out individual health insurance, which is valid in Cyprus.
