Youth Work 4.0 Final Conference Successfully Held at Prešov University

The final conference of the Youth Work 4.0: Digital Mastery project took place on 3 December 2025 at Prešov University, bringing together teachers, educators, youth workers, digital experts, and stakeholders interested in the future of education and youth work in the digital age.

During the conference, the project partnership presented the key outcomes of Youth Work 4.0, with a particular focus on the Toolkit and webinar series developed as practical resources for educators and youth workers. These outputs aim to support the integration of digital and AI-driven tools into educational practice, strengthening digital competences and innovative teaching approaches.

Alongside the presentation of project results, the conference hosted a series of expert contributions on artificial intelligence and digital technologies in education. Researchers from Prešov University shared the latest trends and research findings on the use of AI in educational environments, offering participants an academic perspective on opportunities and challenges related to AI-supported learning.

The programme also included highly practical sessions. Marcel Prievoznik provided hands-on insights into developing educational applications using AI tools, demonstrating how educators can transform ideas into functional digital solutions. Zuzana Tkáčová introduced participants to an overview of the latest AI tools for education, with a special focus on NotebookLM and its potential to support learning and content creation.

To highlight the engaging and interactive side of AI education, Jakub Spišak organised an “AI Battles” session, where participants competed using their prompting skills. This activity demonstrated how AI-related learning can be both educational and enjoyable, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

The conference concluded with a contribution from the partner organisation EduSteps, which shared updates on educational reform in Slovakia, particularly in relation to the integration of digital tools and innovative methodologies in formal education.

The Youth Work 4.0 partnership would like to thank Prešov University for hosting the final conference, as well as all speakers and participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions. The event marked an important milestone in the project, reinforcing the shared commitment to advancing digital mastery and innovative practices in youth work and education.
