The Youth Exchange will take place on 10.-18.3.2025 in Bansko, Bulgaria

The aim of the project is to empower young people to stand against hate speech, cyberbullying, and discrimination by utilizing participatory theatre and graffiti as creative tools to voice their concerns, promote empathy, and foster social inclusion.

Objectives of the course:

Raise Awareness: To educate participants on the prevalence and impact of hate speech, cyberbullying, and discrimination, supported by real-world data and personal stories.
Develop Skills: To train young people in participatory theatre and graffiti, enabling them to use art as a medium for advocacy, self-expression, and community engagement.
Promote Active Citizenship: To encourage participants to become ambassadors of change in their communities, using their artistic projects to inspire dialogue and challenge hate.

Working language: English

Who is the ideal participant in the project?

Young people between 16-23 years old
Participants that are currently NOT on their ESC
Motivated to take part in the project
Be able to understand/share their opinion in English
Be tolerant and respectful

Important info:

Accommodation, meals, and the program throughout the project are fully reimbursed according to the rules of the Erasmus + program through the project organizer.

Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions. Reimbursement of travel costs will only be done upon full attendance of the program and presentation of all original tickets, receipts, invoices, and boarding passes.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organization (sending nor host organization) or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health and travel insurance, which is valid in Lithuania.
