TC SPARKS

The youth exchange will take place between 31st of March and 7th of April 2025.

Overall goal: To train youth workers to the capability of inventing and using creative and innovative youth work methods and tools in order to
increase the knowledge, understanding and awareness among young people regarding the importance of the EU and to contribute to combating populist movements.

Project objectives:

• Getting acquainted with the European Youth Strategy “Engaging, Connecting, Empowering young people”
• Exploring the four fundamental freedoms in the European Union
• Non-formal learning methods and tools on fighting populism among young people
• Understanding the work of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and get acquainted with the ’Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union’
• Meaning and importance of media literacy and how it contributes to maintain democracy
• Partnership-building and project-initiation

Number of participants: 3

Ideal Participant profile:

•  21+ (no upper age limit)
• Youth workers and leaders directly working with marginalised young people (e.g. immigrants, minorities, Roma, etc.)
• Those who are able to participate for the entire training course
• Have organizational support for further activities with young people
• English speakers
