"Resovia: Creative Youth Area" (Study Visit)

The study visit will take place between 30th of June to 6th of July 2024 in Rzeszów, Poland.

The main theme of the project is 'Empowering Youth Leaders,' focusing on witnessing successful youth programs in action and engaging with practitioners to enhance youth engagement strategies. Participants will delve into community management and the art of creating compelling content that resonates with young people. Through immersive workshops, networking, and visits to innovative venues, the project aims to equip youth leaders with practical tools and inspiration to drive positive change in their communities.

Explore Best Practices: Witness successful youth programs and engage with experienced practitioners to learn effective youth engagement strategies.
Community Management: Understand the needs of youth and define community roles through interactive workshops and practical exercises.
Content Creation: Develop skills in creating engaging content that captures the attention and interest of young people.
Venue Visits: Experience innovative spaces like the newly opened Feniks, Urban Lab, and the Youth Center of Rzeszów to see theory in action.
Networking and Collaboration: Connect with fellow youth leaders from diverse backgrounds to share ideas, strategies, and cultural insights.
Empowerment and Inspiration: Fuel your passion for youth work, gather practical tools, and become a changemaker in your community.

Who is the ideal participant in the project?

Youth workers (18+).
Youth leaders and practitioners looking to enhance their engagement strategies.
Individuals passionate about community management and youth development.
Young people interested in creating impactful and engaging content for youth.
Youth from diverse backgrounds who are eager to network, collaborate, and share cultural wisdom.

Group requierments:

Slovakia will be represented on the project by a group of 2 Youth Workers

In particular, the group´s role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives. the secondary task will be to present Slovakia and its culture in an interactive "intercultural night"

Important info:

The accommodation and meals are 100% covered by the coordinating organization.

Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants up to 180 €.
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip. Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions. We exclusively reimburse Green Travel options, such as bus, train, or shared car alternatives. You will be provided with pocket money (30PLN per dinner) to dine out with your peers.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the participants or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Poland
