From the 6th to the 16th of September 2024, we participated in an Erasmus+ project near the town of Călărași in Romania. The day before the project started, a few of us arrived in Bucharest, where we spent the whole day exploring the beautiful and historical city. We walked through the streets, visited several landmarks, and soaked up the atmosphere of the capital.

On the first day of the project, we met all the participants from different parts of Europe, including everyone in the Slovak team. Right from the start, we created a friendly and open environment. Together, we traveled to our accommodation, which pleasantly surprised us. It was a place that combined comfort with nature and offered the perfect setting for our project activities.

Throughout the program, we had the opportunity to communicate with people our age, coming from different countries and cultures. It was an unforgettable experience that opened our minds and taught us a lot about trust, patience, and communication in a multicultural environment. One of the most interesting moments was the "Culture Nights" – evenings where each national group presented their country, traditional food, drinks, and shared some local humor. Thanks to these nights, we got to know the richness of cultures from different parts of the world.

An essential part of the project was playing countless beach games, and of course, dancing together, which brought a lot of fun and relaxation into our schedule. This whole project gave us a valuable experience, enriching us not only personally, but also in our ability to communicate and collaborate better with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
