YE In Focus
Our Slovak team had the incredible opportunity to take part in a seven-day photography residency in Rzeszów, Poland, organized by Inpro. This project focused on improving our skills in photography. It was an exciting chance to collaborate with participants from countries such as Poland, Czechia, Hungary, and Ukraine.
From the very first day, we felt warmly welcomed by our Polish hosts. The organization was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly and inspiring. We had the chance to learn from other photographers, who shared valuable knowledge and techniques. Each session was practical and engaging, helping us develop both our creative and technical skills.
Beyond the workshops, the residency was also about cultural exchange. Meeting photographers from different backgrounds allowed us to share ideas, styles, and perspectives. We formed new friendships and discovered unique ways of storytelling through photography. The city of Rzeszów itself was a fantastic place to explore, offering beautiful locations that inspired our work.
Looking back, we enjoyed every moment of this experience. The combination of education, creativity, and international collaboration made this residency truly special. We returned home with new skills, fresh inspiration, and unforgettable memories. Poland was a wonderful host, and we are grateful for this opportunity to grow as photographers and individuals. We are also very thankful to organisation Youthfully Yours, which made this trip possible.
