FACEASY - FACilitation is EASY
We’ve recently had an incredible opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ training course focused on facilitation in Cascais, Portugal, and we must say it was an unforgettable experience. The training course not only provided us with a wealth of important knowledge but also delivered it in an engaging and humorous way, making the learning process enjoyable and memorable.
One of the highlights of the training course was the opportunity to facilitate our own workshops. Through practical exercises and simulations, we were able to put into practice the facilitation techniques and tools that we learned throughout the program. This hands-on approach not only enhanced our understanding of facilitation but also boosted our confidence in leading group activities and discussions.
Moreover, the location of the training course added an extra layer of excitement and beauty to the experience. Cascais, a picturesque coastal town, offered stunning beaches and breathtaking views. During our free time, we had the chance to relax and unwind by the sea, soaking up the sun and enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze. The charm of Cascais was further amplified by its close proximity to other famous destinations such as Lisbon and Sintra. We had the opportunity to explore these vibrant cities, immersing ourselves in their rich history, culture, and architecture.
The trainers themselves were knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about the subject matter. They created a supportive and inclusive learning environment where everyone's ideas and contributions were valued. They also incorporated various interactive activities, group discussions, and team-building exercises, ensuring that we remained engaged and actively involved throughout the course.
In addition to the professional development aspect, the training course fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants. We formed lasting connections and friendships with people from different countries, exchanging ideas, experiences, and cultural perspectives. The social activities organized by the training course team, such as group dinners and outings, further facilitated this sense of community and made the overall experience even more enjoyable.
All in all, the Erasmus+ training course in Cascais was an enriching and transformative experience. It provided us with valuable knowledge and skills in facilitation, presented in an engaging and humorous manner. The picturesque setting of Cascais, coupled with the opportunity to explore nearby cities, added an element of adventure to the program. I am truly grateful for the eight amazing days I spent there, the beautiful time at the stunning beaches, and the unforgettable memories I made. I would highly recommend this training course to anyone interested in developing their facilitation skills while immersing themselves in a vibrant and captivating environment.
