The Youth Exchange will take place 31.8. - 8.9.2024 in Bran, Romania.
The aim of the project is to explore the topics of cultural and natural heritage through digital storytelling. It connects to the theme of Routes, Networks and Connections of the European Heritage Days 2024.
Objectives of the course:

O1: Raise awareness among youth on the importance of knowing, preserving and promoting cultural and natural heritage.

O2: Equip participants with digital storytelling skills to create, share, and promote content that highlights the significance of their cultural & natural local heritage.

O3: Foster crosscultural understanding and collaboration by connecting youth from different regions to share their cultural & natural heritage stories and exchange their digital storytelling best practices.

Who is the ideal participant in the project?
- 1 group leader
- aged 18+
- able to facilitate non-formal education activities
- capable of managing various group dynamics in an intercultural environment
- good command of English (min. B2)
- 5 participants
- aged 15-20
- young people motivated to become more active in their own communities,
- with interest in digital storytelling, cultural & natural heritage,
- able to communicate in English
Important info:
Accommodation, meals, and the program throughout the project are fully reimbursed according to the rules of the Erasmus + program through the project organizer.
Reimbursement: Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participant for up to 275€.
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.
Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions. Reimbursement of travel costs will only be done upon full attendance of the program and presentation of all original tickets, receipts, invoices, and boarding passes.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organization (Youthfully Yours SK nor GEYC) or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health and travel insurance, which is valid in Romania.

IMPORTANT: If you are applying to be the GROUP LEADER, please clearly state it in your email or motivation letter.
