"Disconnect to Reconnect" (Youth Exchange)

The training course will take place between 17th and 26th of May 2024 in town Horezu, Romania

The main theme of the project DigiO is improving your digital skills through the most modern non-formal education methods.

The project objectives

Increasing the quality of services in youth activities;
Initiating / expanding / perfecting professional skills and/or exchanging good practices in working with young people;
Acquiring new skills, perfecting or improving the existing ones for at least 120 young people (80% fewerops.) from the community, by holding at least 2 workshops after the mobility, seminars carried out by the directly participating youth workers, until 31.08. 2024.

Who is the ideal participant in the project?

Youth worker active an NGO
Age over 18 years;
Resident in the sending country;
Desire for improvement in the field of inclusion and/or secondary or higher education in the field of inclusion would be an asset;
Experience working with young people with fewer opportunities;
Communication skills in English;
Knowledge in the field of Erasmus + and ESC Program;
Non-formal and informal learning skills;
Motivation to participate in the project

Group requierments:

Slovakia will be represented on the project by a group of 2 participants.

In particular, the group's role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives. the secondary task will be to present Slovakia and its culture in an interactive "intercultural night".

Important info:

The accommodation and meals are 100% covered by the coordinating organization.

Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants up to 275 €.
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.

Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the participants or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Romania.
