Project Organisation: Studio Progetto

The Youth Exchange will take place between 14^th to 22^nd of October 2024 in Valdagno-Castelvecchio, Veneto, Italy

The main theme of the "FEED" project revolves around exploring the intersection of art, identity, and community. "FEED" seeks to examine the relationship between artists and audiences, the impact of algorithms on our sense of self and democracy, and how we can foster positive connections within society. Through theatrical techniques, "FEED" aims to transform these complex questions into expressions of beauty, dialogue, art, and community.

Objectives of the course:

O1: Explore the creative relationship between artists and spectators.
O2: Examine how algorithms influence identity and democracy.
O3: Encourage participants to find balance between self-expression and performativity.
O4: Foster positive relationships and community-building through artistic practices.
O5: Use theatrical techniques to transform complex social questions into artistic expression.
O6: Promote personal growth and self-improvement among young participants

Who is the ideal participant in the project?

Who is the ideal project participant?
- Aged 16-19 for participants and 23+ for the team leader.
- Interested in acting or performing and eager to engage in creative expression.
- Comfortable using their body and voice in expressive ways.
- Motivated to work on personal development and self-improvement.
- Open-minded and enthusiastic, with no specific prior experience necessary.
Group requirements:
In particular, the group´s role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives. the secondary task will be to present Slovakia and its culture in an interactive "intercultural night"

Important info:

The accommodation and meals are 100% covered by the coordinating organization.

Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants up to 275€ (Green Travel up to 320€).
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.

Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions. Participants shall not proceed with purchasing their tickets without the approval of host organisation.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out individual health insurance, which is valid in Italy.
