TEAMTALK: Building LIFECOMP Skills Together (Youth Exchange)

 

 

Let's talk about the power of communication and collaboration!

The Youth Exchange will take place 06.-16.9.2024 in Călărași, Romania. 

Objectives of the course:

  • O1: To improve the communication and collaboration capacity of 30 young people and 6 group leaders from 6 European NGOs by guiding them through a 9 day youth exchange in 📍Călărași, Romania, where they will discover the LIFE COMP framework, non-formal methods and reflection tools to take ownership of their own learning. 

  • O2: To raise awareness on the importance of developing communication and collaboration skills and discovering opportunities provided by Erasmus+ Programme 🇪🇺 among 180 young people by sharing the knowledge, tools and experiences acquired by the participants during the youth mobility through 6 local workshops organized in the local communities of the partner organisations by February 2025.

  • O3: To support young people in becoming more prepared to stay employable and always up-to-date regarding the needs of the labor market by developing a digital journal with short and effective videos 🎬 containing tips and tricks to enhance the communication and collaboration skills.

Participants from: Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Greece, Spain

Who is the ideal participant in the project? 

Each national team will consist of 5 young people and 1 group leader.

Young people:

  • no English 🇬🇧 level is required for the young people

Group leader:

  • no age restriction for the group leader (must be over 18)
  • previous experience with Erasmus+ mobilities in required
  • advanced level of English is required for group leaders

Both must be willing disseminate the project and Erasmus+ Programme on your social media accounts and through local workshops after you return home to your local community!

Important info:

Accommodation, meals, and the program throughout the project are fully reimbursed according to the rules of the Erasmus + program through the project organizer.

Reimbursement: Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participant for up to 279€.

  • IMPORTANT: Please consider that Monomyths Association have minimized the standard international transportation grant by 30 euros in order to cover the costs of the bus from the meeting point in Bucharest to the venue on the 6th of September, as well as the bus from the venue back to Henri Coandă Airport on the 16th of September.

Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.

Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to their instructions. Reimbursement of travel costs will only be done upon full attendance of the program and presentation of all original tickets, receipts, invoices, and boarding passes.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organization (Youthfully Yours SK nor Monomyths Association) or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health and travel insurance, which is valid in Romania.
