Youth Mobility: Slovak and Bulgarian Students Meet Through the STEAM Project

As part of the STEAM project activities, a youth mobility program was organized with the aim of bringing together students from Slovakia and Bulgaria who participated in the STEAM methodology pilot project. This event offered students a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, share knowledge, and strengthen their skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Slovak students, who had previously tested the newly developed STEAM educational content in their schools, traveled to meet their Bulgarian peers, who were similarly engaged in STEAM-based education. Through a series of joint workshops, group activities, and project tasks, students applied the methods they had practiced and discovered new ways of collaborating across cultures.

Mobility focused not only on academic growth, but also on the development of transversal skills such as communication, teamwork, creativity, and problem solving. Through collaborative work, students gained a deeper understanding of STEAM subjects while also forming international friendships and expanding their cultural awareness.
