🌿 ZenZone Diary – DAY 6 🌿
✨ A diary written by our participants ✨

We started the day by choosing a card and describing what our favourite type of rest was. Ema and Janka then explained the program for our visit to Košice.

After this, we could start our activities. After a brief energizer, we began learning about social rest, which can be summarized as having meaningful connections with people. We used Ikigai, an activity meant to connect what you love, what you`re good at, what you can get paid for, and what your world needs.

After the coffee break, we proceeded with watching the Reel videos every national team had made about the project.

After lunch, we all took the bus together to Košice. There, we did a tour of the city, and after that, we had a free afternoon. Everyone did whatever they wanted, mainly checking out shops, important buildings and various breweries. 💚✨

A week full of new friendships, team-building, intercultural evenings, and discovering how technology affects our everyday lives. 💻📱
🌍From exploring Ebeltoft and Aarhus to learning about cybersecurity, digital well-being, attention, and healthier tech habits, every day brought something new. ✨🧠

We shared our cultures, traditions, food, and stories with people from five different countries 🌍🍴🎶 while creating memories, having fun, and building friendships that will stay with us long after we leave Denmark. 🤍✨📸

✨ Youthcracy — an unforgettable Erasmus+ experience in Belgium!

From 17–26 July, six young people from Slovakia joined participants from across Europe 🌍 in the beautiful village of Botassart to explore democracy, elections, voting systems, and parliaments. They took part in interesting activities like:

🗳️ Interactive elections & simulations
🏛️ Parliamentary and court sessions
💬 Discussions about democracy & active citizenship
🥾 Exploring Botassart, Bouillon, Brussels & Luxembourg

One of the most exciting parts was experiencing three different elections, with the government changing each time! 🗳️ This made us see how decisions, leadership, and voting can shape a democratic society.

Beyond the programme, we shared countless laughs, conversations, sports, music, and unforgettable moments together. ❤️

We came home with a deeper understanding of democracy, new skills, amazing memories, and friendships that crossed borders. 🌍✨

🌿 ZenZone Diary – DAY 5 🌿
✨ A diary written by our participants ✨

We started our fifth day with a creative reflection activity. We were given artistic cards, and each of us chose a card that represented what we were most looking forward to that day. It was a simple but thoughtful way to set an intention for the day and reflect on what we hoped to experience.

We then started with a fun energizer, where we stood in a circle and carefully sat on the knees of the person behind us. Once everyone was seated, we had to take several steps together while maintaining the circle, which turned into a lot of laughter and required quite a bit of trust and coordination.

Next, we divided into six groups and each group received a different situation to turn into a short scene. The topics included creative block, notification overload, being overwhelmed by responsibilities, not knowing how or when to rest, and being unable to fully appreciate a beautiful place because of our phones. First, we acted out only the problems while the rest of the group tried to guess what each scene represented. We then performed the scenes again, but this time anyone from the audience could shout “REST!” at any moment and suggest a solution. It was a fun and interactive way to look at some very relatable challenges.

We then continued in our native-language groups with a creative challenge: creating our own Reel. We could choose any format we wanted, from a vlog to an educational video, and continued working on our ideas even after lunch.

In the afternoon, we learned more about mental and creative rest and explored how creativity itself can become a way of slowing down and recharging. We could choose between making glasses or vases from recycled wine bottles, lino printing on T-shirts, creating things from recycled materials, or simply painting and colouring. The atmosphere became very relaxed as everyone could choose their own way to be creative and enjoy the process without focusing on the result.

It was a day full of laughter, creativity, trust, and reflection. 💚✨

🌿✨ Reconnection to the Basics — a week in Latvia that reminded us of something simple but important: before we can support others, we need to take care of ourselves.

From 19–26 July, youth workers and mentors from across Europe 🌍 came together to reconnect with themselves, nature, and each other through non-formal education.

This training gave us space to pause, reflect, and notice what we want to bring back into our everyday life. We came home with new motivation to keep learning, work on ourselves, and share what we have learned with others. 💚

Grateful for the amazing people, organisers, and safe space that made this experience so meaningful.

🌿 ZenZone Diary – DAY 4 🌿
✨ A diary written by our participants ✨

We started our fourth day with a quick reflection on our experience so far. For this activity, we were given a variety of cards showing a figurine doing different actions, and each of us had to choose one that reminded us of a highlight from the previous days. It was a simple but meaningful way to look back on the moments that had stood out to us and share them with the group.

Afterwards, we moved outside and took a small trip into Mongolian culture. We created our own flags, illustrating both the things that drain our energy in everyday life and the things we usually do to decompress, recharge, and self-regulate. Following our fruit and coffee break in the warm sun, accompanied by Charlie and some fun games of ping pong, we continued with a session about emotional intelligence. We then gathered in our reflection groups, where we had a beautiful and open discussion that allowed us to connect more deeply through vulnerability and honest sharing.

Later in the day, the atmosphere became even calmer as we enjoyed meditation and yoga surrounded by the endless green landscape. To conclude the daily program, we were introduced to sound healing, which was a very therapeutic and relaxing experience. We were also offered refreshing blueberry and mint juice, which made the whole moment feel even more special.

After dinner, the day continued with the Czechoslovakian intercultural night, where we discovered more about each other`s cultures while sharing moments of learning, laughter, and connection. It was a peaceful yet emotional day that brought us closer together and gave us new ways to understand and take care of ourselves. 🌿💚✨

🤔 POV: You arrive at an Erasmus+ project and suddenly your team is made up of people from five different countries. 🌍

Different languages, personalities, cultures, ways of communicating… and now you have to create something together. Sounds easy, right? 👀

Teamwork is a big part of Erasmus+ projects, and it’s also where a lot of the learning happens. You practise communicating your ideas, listening to others, sharing responsibility, and finding a solution when everyone sees things a little differently 💬

And those differences? They’re actually one of the best parts. Someone might approach a problem in a way you would never have considered, while you bring something completely different to the group 🤝

You probably won’t become the perfect team immediately and you don’t need to. Learning how to work together is part of the experience too 🌱

So next time you’re put into a random group during a project… give it a chance. You might be surprised by what you create together ✨

🌿 ZenZone Diary – DAY 3 🌿
✨ A diary written by our participants ✨

We started our day with a group energizer dance and reflected on our current emotional state using Japanese cards. Next, we learned about the importance of physical rest and were asked to identify the various ways we practice it, followed by some dedicated time to lie down and relax.

During the second half of the morning, we prepared for our hike by designing fun challenges to make the route more engaging. Once the hike was completed, we gathered in our reflection groups to share our impressions of the day.

The evening wrapped up wonderfully with a cultural night celebrating Greece and Poland, bringing a fulfilling and creative day to a perfect close. 🌱✨

🌿 ZenZone Diary – DAY 2 🌿
✨ A diary written by our participants ✨

The second day was about digital overload, its meaning to each of us, and finding ways to improve it. So, we started by recognizing how we use technology in our everyday lives and whether its use improves or deregulates our psychosocial situation. After that, we talked about it a lot, separated into teams, and tried to find ways and solutions for preventing digital overload and the final burnout from happening to us.

Of course, throughout the day, we had some energizers outdoors that balanced the whole process of thinking and analyzing these serious topics. Also, the team-building activity of building the bridge all together was very funny and creative.

After our big break, we were introduced to the 7 types of rest, both theoretically and practically, and we had some time to experience all of them at the stations that had been made for us. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxed, so we finished our daily program feeling peaceful and filled with a variety of emotions. 🌱✨

🌱 Growing Healthy Minds

Our participants recently took part in the Growing Healthy Minds Training Course in Croatia, where youth workers from different countries came together to exchange experiences, develop new competences, and explore approaches to promoting mental well-being through non-formal education.

Throughout the project, participants took part in interactive workshops, group activities, and intercultural learning experiences that encouraged reflection, personal growth, and the exchange of good practices. The training course provided a valuable opportunity to build new international connections while gaining practical tools that can be applied in youth work and local communities.
