Project organisation: Europe4Youth

The training course will take place between the 7th of March and the 15th of March 2024 in Rabka-Zdrój, Poland.

The overall aim of the project is to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to harness the potential of volunteering as a means to foster personal growth, contribute to societal well-being, and effectively engage young people in meaningful activities while ensuring a positive and sustainable experience for both volunteers and organizations.

Objectives of the course:

  1. Understanding the Value of Volunteering: To help participants understand the significance of volunteering as an opportunity for personal growth, learning, networking, and contributing to society.
  2. Exploring the Benefits: To examine and discuss the various benefits of volunteering, including its impact on the common good, public interest, organizational goals, and the personal development of volunteers.
  3. Utilizing volunteering as a Youth Work Tool: To demonstrate how volunteering can be effectively used in youth work to engage and empower young people in meaningful activities.

Number of participants: 24

Partcipant requirements:

  • Age: Participants must be adults aged 18 years or older.
  • Professional Role: Participants should be volunteering coordinators or youth workers currently collaborating with or planning to collaborate with young volunteers.
  • Affiliation: Participants should be affiliated with an organization or entity that is actively involved in youth work, such as NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) or other entities registered in one of the program countries of Erasmus+.

Important info:

Accommodation, meals, and the program throughout the project are fully reimbursed according to the rules of the Erasmus + program through the project organizer.

Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participant for up to 180€.

Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip. Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the participants or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Poland.
