The youth exchange will take place between 16.08.2024 and 24.08.2024 in Poronin, Poland.

The main theme of the project is to promote civic activity among young people.

Objectives of the Project:

to increase the level of participation among young people
to gain knowledge and skills and exchange experiences with our peers from partner countries
to explore the concept, the importance and different ways of being an active young citizen
to raise awareness about the benefits of active citizenship
to increase the motivation of young people in order to become active citizens in their local communities
to assist youth discover and explore their interests
to give participants an experience of cultural exchange and understanding
to share with participants the opportunities and benefits of Erasmus+ & European Solidarity Corps

Participating Countries: Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia

Who is the ideal participant in the project?

16 - 18 years old (1 group leader: 18+)
living in Slovakia (citizen or residence permit)
eager to engage in the project activities on the given topic
priority place for participants with fewer opportunities

Group requirements:

In particular, the group's role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives (before, during and after the project).

The secondary task will be to present Slovakia and its culture to be able to support the project requirements.

The selected participants are also required to create an article about the project in SK and EN and provide the YYSK team with pictures from the project.

Important info:

Travel cost limits: reimbursed up to 275€ for participants from Slovakia.
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.

Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.

Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Poland.
