Na jej dosiahnutie sme stanovili svoju misiu; rozvíjať kompetencie mladých ľudí, posilňovať ich iniciatívnosť & spoločenskú zodpovednosť, podporovať aktívne občianstvo, sociálnu inklúziu & interkultúrny dialóg medzi mladými ľuďmi z východného Slovenska.

🤩 Exploring a city can be about more than just visiting new places, it can also be about discovering more sustainable ways to live! 🌍
As part of the G.E.A.R.S. project, participants took part in a local Green Shops Visit and City Quest, exploring businesses and initiatives that promote environmentally friendly choices in everyday life. 🌱
The activities encouraged young people to look at their surroundings from a new perspective, learn about sustainable alternatives, and see how small local actions can contribute to a greener community. 🏙️
It was a great opportunity to combine teamwork, exploration, and environmental awareness while discovering that sustainability is often closer than we think. 💚
Sometimes, the best way to learn is simply by stepping outside and seeing your city through a different lens! ✨

As part of the CTRL+ALT+LOVE project, we recently held our local co-creation workshop, bringing together young people to share experiences, exchange ideas, and shape educational tools that reflect the realities they face today! 🤔
By working together, discussing real-life situations, and designing practical solutions, participants are helping create resources that are relevant, relatable, and built by young people, for young people. Because conversations about relationships, consent, digital life, and emotional wellbeing should start with listening. 💬

During our local G.E.A.R.S. workshop in Košice, participants took part in a colour hunt that challenged them to slow down, observe their surroundings, and discover how nature, urban spaces, and everyday life are connected. 😱
Activities like these show that sustainability isn`t only learned in a classroom. It begins with curiosity, awareness, and seeing the value in the world around us. Small discoveries today can inspire greener choices tomorrow. 🌱

Talking about sexual health, relationships, consent, and personal boundaries with young people isn`t always easy but it is important.
The SHER-Y OER was created to support youth workers, educators, youth leaders, and other professionals with practical knowledge, tools, and activities that help make these conversations more informed, inclusive, and age-appropriate. 💬
Through interactive learning units, reflection exercises, and real-life examples, the course explores topics such as body image, healthy relationships, communication, digital safety, consent, and emotional wellbeing.
