🌿 Building what’s next, Inside Out in Bohinj! 🇸🇮

We met in Bohinj, Slovenia for our Inside Out partner meeting, bringing everyone together to move the project forward and shape what’s coming next. 🤝

Over the days, we focused on improving our toolkit, sharing feedback from pilot testing, and making sure the activities are practical, clear, and actually useful for young people. A big part of the discussion was how to make outdoor learning more accessible from clearer instructions to stronger real-life application. 🌱

Beyond the work, it was also about reconnecting as a team, exchanging ideas, and aligning on how we want this project to create real impact. We would like to thank our partners for gathering and our host for amazing hospitality!💬

Step by step, we’re building something that supports how young people learn, think, and experience the world both inside and outside. 🌍

The Youth Exchange part of project ‘Bridges, Not Walls’ happened between 20th and 29th of April 2026 at an idyllic rural retreat near rural Lithuanian village Luoba. ✈

🎯 The goal of the project was to learn how to build bridges, meaning connect with people and their unique situations, create understanding and build empathy skills. The activities were part theory and part practice so the participants could immediately start trying out the new knowledge or techniques they learned. 🌉✨

🌐 The participating countries were Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania and Lithuania. The project took place in Lithuanian countryside at a beautiful location which also gets used as wedding venue when it is not hosting Erasmus youngsters. The venue had an artificial lake, gorgeous and vast nature. 🏕🌿

This Erasmus+ exchange took place in Giovinazzo, a charming little coastal town in southern Italy — and what a setting it was. 🌊☀️

We stayed in a beautiful monastery right in the heart of the town, which gave the whole week such a peaceful and unique atmosphere. Every day was full of workshops and activities, and what made it special was that each country actually prepared and led their own session — so we were co-creators of the whole program, not just participants. 🎯

The cultural nights, exploring Giovinazzo and Bari, and just spending time with people from so many different countries — it all went by way too fast. Left with new skills, new perspectives, and friendships I`m sure will last well beyond the project. 💛🌍

🌍 Wrapping up & reconnecting, Upskill & Reconnect Final Conference in Sarajevo! 🇧🇦

We’ve officially concluded the Upskill & Reconnect project with our final conference in Sarajevo, bringing together young people, partners, and local youth to share what we’ve built along the way. 💬

The event combined a youth exchange with the final conference, creating space not just to present results, but to experience them; through activities, discussions, and real interaction. 🌱

Throughout the project, the focus was on building digital, social, and life skills, while creating opportunities for young people to learn from each other and connect across cultures. Sharing the outcomes with local youth made it clear that the results are not just theoretical; they are practical, relevant, and ready to be used in real situations. 🧠

This project may be over, but the impact continues through the tools, ideas, and connections created along the way. 🔄
