(Training Course)

80% increase in knowledge in communication, 60% in leadership skills, and 70% in time management!

Project organization: Youth Human Impact Association

The training course will take place between 14th and 21st of May 2024 in town Tykocin, Poland.

The main theme of the Follow the Leader project is identifying key managerial traits through SWOT analysis, evaluating communication skills. Emphasis is placed ontime management, planning, delegation, and fostering positive teamr elationships.

 

The project objectives

  • Definition of key qualities of a good manager, including leadership, communication, and management skills.
  • 80% increase in knowledge in communication, 60% in leadership skills, and 70% in time management.
  • 80% increase in knowledge in problem-solving, situational analysis, and effective decision-making.
  • Development of team-building skills, including empathy and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Creation of 30 personalized managerial development plans for participants.
  • Creating 5 workshop scenarios for nongovernmental organizations worldwide.
  • Preparation of a manual "Follow the Leader", which will contain knowledge and exercises to develop the skills of a good manager in an NGO.

Who is the ideal participant in the project?

  • you are youth worker;
  • you want to be a good manager;
  • you lack the right skills to be a good manager;
  • you are creative, determined and committed you are motivated to participate in the project;
  • you are ready for intensive days filled with activities from morning to evening;
  • you are open to working in an international team;
  • you know English at least on a basic level, you can speak and write English freely.

Group requierments:

Slovakia will be represented on the project by a group of 3 participants.  

In particular, the group's role will be to actively participate in the project program in an effort to meet its defined objectives. Gender balance and group diversity in terms of different social and cultural backgrounds should be taken into consideration.  The project welcomes participants facing fewer opportunities, facing social, economic or geographical obstacles. All the participants must attend all the sessions during the mobility and be part of dissemination activities after it.

Important info:

The accommodation and meals are 100% covered by the coordinating organization.

Travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants up to 275directly by the organizer (no money goes through YYSK under this project).
Each participant is individually responsible for the planning and implementation of the trip.

Extremely important: The participant is obliged to keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according to his instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Poland.
