YE The Way of Water
Project Organiser: Concordia
The youth exchange will take place between 15.-22.11. 2026 in Louverné, France.
Overall goal: To empower young people to explore water sustainability and biodiversity through non-formal education, while building practical tools and intercultural skills together.
Project objectives:
- Learn about local and global environmental issues through hands-on workshops and meetings with local initiatives.
- Work in small groups on local problems to build a guide featuring key findings and solutions for European organizations.
- Share personal experiences across cultures to build strong European values, teamwork, and key soft skills like intercultural communication and initiative.
Working language: English.
Number of participants: 4 + 1 group leader
Ideal Participant profile:
- Age: 18-30, group leader 18+
- has a good command of English, an open mind, and a desire to co-create solutions in international groups.
- motivated by nature and eager to explore water cycle and biodiversity topics through hands-on European workshops.
- willing to participate in a videocall with organizer
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 309€ / 417€ (for green travel)
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in France.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
