YE Mind Me

Mind Me was a Youth exchange, that took place from 10. to 17.3.2026, in Italy, Ercolano.

Experience of our participants:

Laura Halászová:

„This Erasmus+ project was a truly unique and unforgettable experience for me. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed, safe and comfortable, surrounded by kind, open minded and supportive people. Despite coming from different countries, we managed to build strong and genuine connections in a very short time. What made this project special was not only the friendships we created, but the entire journey we shared together. The project focused on self-development, which allowed me to learn many new things about myself and others. Every activity had meaning, and I appreciated how interactive and engaging the sessions were.“

Bianka Kónyová:

„What stood out the most was how naturally we bonded. There was kindness, respect, and this unspoken understanding between us, even though we came from completely different cultures — Greek, Spanish, Italian, Slovak. Somehow, in such a short time, we became a unit. Not forced, not artificial — just real. The kind of connection that happens when people genuinely want to be present with each other. Even the simplest moments meant something. The breaks, the fresh air, the random conversations — those were the times we chose each other, without structure, without obligation. And that’s where some of the strongest bonds were created.“

Terézia Ščasná:

„We also talked a lot about stoicism and how important it is to realize what is in our control and what is not. That really made me think about my everyday life differently. We learned breathing techniques to calm ourselves down, and it was crazy to see how fast your heart rate can change just by controlling your breath. Another thing that made this Erasmus so special were the people. I met such amazing people from all around Europe and I’m so grateful for those connections. It felt so easy to talk to everyone and just be myself.“

Diana Karasková:

„The food was amazing, and I really liked the accommodation too, even though there were seven of us in one room. It didn’t bother me at all because we could spend basically 24/7 together, getting to know each other better and forming great connections. The overall atmosphere among everyone was really relaxed and easygoing. What I appreciated the most, though, was being able to fully live in the moment and not worry about life back home. Every day had something new and interesting, and everything just felt meaningful. This Erasmus was the perfect mix of fun, learning new things, and relaxing, and I’m really glad I could connect with people from different countries. I would definitely do it again.“

Alžbeta Jurčíková:

„The idea of the project was simple- to slow down, step away frombconstant pressure and expectations for a while, and focus more on yourself. I can’t explain it, but I felt very safe there, and I could open up to anyone about anything, knowing that I wouldn’t be judged for it. I like that I could create such a little bubble and forget about the problems in Slovakia. The whole experience felt like a little break from reality, where I could just BE and not think about problems. Overall, I’m very grateful for this experience and I’m already missing all those wonderful people so much!! I can’t wait to participate in something like this again.“

Anna Urdziková:

„Ever since we came back from this project, I’m just always in my phone gallery looking at what a good time we had and I’ve been searching for another projects to participate because I need to experience something like this again… although I’m a little bit scared that it will not compare to this. The workshops were very interesting and I had very strong experiences and the facilitators were amazing. One of them even made the app and there was so many activities to do together and to write reflections, everybody cared about our feelings. Also I need to say something about the cultural night because I learned a lot and I was very grateful to share also my culture with other people. All in all thank you coordinators, thanks to my group, to whole Youthfully yours, to Erasmus+ and last but not least to Universe for having me in this world and at that place!“
