E-Tools Project Kick-Off in Ruse, Bulgaria

On September 5, 2024, the E-Tools for Youth Work project was officially launched with a kick-off meeting in Ruse, Bulgaria. Bringing together partner organizations from across Europe, the meeting provided an essential opportunity to align on objectives, define roles, and establish the roadmap for the project’s implementation. E-Tools is designed specifically for professionals active in youth work, with the aim of equipping them with practical digital skills for project management and dissemination.

Hosted by our Bulgarian partner, the meeting focused on preparing for one of the project’s central activities — the series of online capacity building workshops. Partners began drafting the framework for these workshops, defining their structure, content focus, and delivery methods to ensure they would be relevant, engaging, and accessible for youth work professionals in diverse contexts. Discussions also addressed the project timeline, responsibilities for content development, and strategies to ensure the workshops respond directly to the sector’s evolving needs.

The Ruse meeting set the tone for a collaborative and impact-driven partnership. By combining strategic planning with a shared commitment to digital innovation, partners took the first step toward creating high-quality educational resources that will strengthen the capacity of youth workers and organizations across Europe.
