YE Connecting Cultures & Future
The Erasmus+ project with the theme Connecting Cultures and the Future (Youth Exchange) gave us the opportunity to get to know other cultures through movement games and orienteering, where in addition to the cultures we also got to know the city of Aguiar de Beira in Portugal (where the whole project took place). I canโt forget to mention canoeing, golf (which we tried for the first time) and cycling. As a group we got even closer when we visited the city of Viso. The cultural nights were a great way to get to know the cultures, their customs, traditions, food and even the music they listen to.
We were accommodated in a sports complex with a football field, which was used after the program for various games and evening stargazing. We went to a nearby primary school for meals. Everyone always found something they liked, whether from the buffet selection or from the local fruits and vegetables.
I recommend participating in the Erasmus+ project to anyone who is interested in meeting new people, cultures, deepen their knowledge on a given topic, and last but not least, traveling and having fun.
