YE EQ is the New Cool
From September 1st to September 5th, 2025, we had the amazing opportunity to join a youth exchange in Rzeszรณw, Poland. The project, EQ Is the New Cool, focused on the importance of emotional intelligence while helping participants explore the value of teamwork and soft skills. During this exchange, we had the pleasure of being joined by several Slavic countries, including Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.
The project would not have been possible without INPRO, an organization whose dedicated trainers and volunteers brought everyone together. Throughout the week, we stayed in their hostel and took part in workshops that made the experience both engaging and memorable. Furthermore, we got to experience traditional Polish cuisine that left all of us absolutely delighted from the taste.ย
The activities were very diverse, ranging from role-playing to outdoor tasks that tested our teamwork and communication skills. Each day would bring new ways to improve our emotional intelligence whilst leaving us space to reflect on our personal emotions and thoughts after each segment. This helped in creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone to engage in without fear or worry.ย
Outside of the workshops, we had plenty of opportunities to connect on a personal level. Whether it was exploring the city of Rzeszรณw together, sharing meals, or simply talking late into the evening, we built friendships that went beyond the project itself. By the end of the exchange, we all left with not just new skills, but also memories and bonds that we will carry with us into the future.
