YE The LENS of Nature

The youth exchange will take place between 13. – 22.08.2026 in Brăduleț, Argeș Romania.
Overall goal: This project aims to reconnect young people with nature through outdoor experiences and photography. It encourages exploration, creativity, and a stronger appreciation of the relationship between people and the natural world.
Project objectives:
Reconnect young people with nature through photography and outdoor experiences.
Develop observation and exploration skills in nature.
Use photography for storytelling and engagement with nature.
Strengthen awareness of people–nature–wellbeing connection.
Support reflection, learning, and sharing through group work.
Working language: English.
Number of participants: 5 + 1 leader
Ideal Participant profile:
- 16-25 years old
- Open to outdoor activities, teamwork, basic English, and full participation.
- Interested in nature, photography, and exchange
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 285€ (green travel only)
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Romania.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
