Project Organiser: Solafrika

The youth exchange will take place between 3rd – 14th November 2026 in Bédeille, 09230 France.

Overall goal: To empower participants with a deeper understanding of cultural differences, discrimination, and systems of oppression while developing their skills for democratic participation, communication, and cooperation. The project aims to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to actively promote human rights, justice, and solidarity in their communities.

Project objectives:

  • to provide tools of self-governance and experiment it in our group
  • to better understand the origins and forms of domination, the impacts of hate speech and what are the roots that make it work
  • to provide tools to promote human rights
  • to share good practices on how to tackle this issue in youth settings 

Working language: English.

Number of participants: 27

Ideal Participant profile: 

  • Age: 18+
  • Young people with fewer opportunities and/or limited access to international experiences.
  • Participants who have not previously taken part in an Erasmus+ project.
  • Individuals deeply interested in human rights, inclusion, and social change.
  • Youth workers, association members, volunteers, or active community members motivated to share experiences and learn from others.

Important information:

Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 309€ / 417€ (for green travel)

Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in France.

  • Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
  • All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
