YE: Green Souls
Overall Goal:
To foster sustainability and promote a healthy lifestyle among young people through nature-based and intercultural learning experiences. The project emphasizes personal development, environmental awareness, and physical well-being in a collaborative, international setting.
APV (Advanced Planning Visit):
- Dates: 3rd – 6th June 2025 (3rd and 6th are travel days)
- Location: Recoaro Terme, Italy
- Participants: 1 group leader
IMPORTANT!!!: The same leader must attend both the APV and the youth exchange. If not, travel reimbursement will be forfeited. Reimbursement is made after the project ends and upon full participation in both parts.
Youth Exchange:
- Dates: 21st – 29th July 2025
- Location: Recoaro Terme, Italy
- Participants: 5 + 1 (group leader)
- Promote sustainable lifestyles and healthy habits.
- Enhance environmental awareness through outdoor activities like hiking, survival skills, and orienteering.
- Foster intercultural understanding and teamwork.
- Encourage self-reliance and resilience through nature immersion.
Working Language: English
Participant profile:
- Participants per country: 5 + 1 (group leader)
- Participant age: 16–19 years old
- Group leader age: 21+ years old
- English language understanding and communication skills
Venue: Hotel Isola, Recoaro Terme
Note: Self-managed accommodation (no hotel staff).
Bring your own Bedsheets/pillowcase or sleeping bag, hygiene products, water bottle, and hiking shoes.
Accommodation, food, and materials: Fully covered
Travel reimbursement:
- 500–1999 km: 309€ (standard) / 417€ (green travel)
IMPORTANT: Keep all original tickets, boarding passes, and receipts for reimbursement
Insurance: Travel insurance is not provided or reimbursed. Participants must obtain valid health insurance for Italy.
LEADERS MUST ATTEND BOTH THE APV AND YE – or they lose reimbursement rights.
Tickets must be purchased only after written confirmation from the organizers.
Full participation in the entire program is mandatory.
Participants are expected to take part in post-project dissemination activities as well.
