Project Organiser: BRF Youth

The youth exchange will take place between 19.07. and 26.07.2026 in Ogre & Riga, Latvia.

Overall goal:
To empower youth workers to reconnect with themselves, others, and nature through non-formal education, while strengthening their wellbeing, resilience, and capacity to build meaningful connections in both their personal and
professional lives.
Supporting young people starts with taking care of ourselves, this training creates a space to slow down, reconnect, learn, and grow together.

Project objectives:

  • Learn practical methods and tools, including Psychological First Aid
  • Explore self-care and wellbeing practices
  • Connect with youth workers from across Europe
  • Share experiences and learn through non-formal education
  • Take time to reflect, recharge, and rediscover your motivation
  • Gain inspiration and ideas to bring back to your work with young people

Working language: English.

Number of participants: 2-3

Ideal Participant profile:

  • youth workers, mentors, trainers, facilitators, and others involved in youth work
  • 18+
  • participants with fewer opportunities are especially welcome to take part in this project

Important information:

Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 309€

Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Latvia.

  • Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
  • All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
