TC Embodied Habits

The training course will take place between 27th of August till 6th of November in Laumas, Latvia.

Overall goal: to equip youth workers with practical, body-based tools (such as breathwork, yoga, and dance) combined with habit-building frameworks (like Atomic Habits) to help young people improve their motivation, emotional regulation, and daily routines.

Project objectives:

  • To teach youth workers how to help young people turn short-term learning into lasting, positive habits
  • To introduce breathwork, yoga, dance, and improvisation as practical tools for youth motivation and emotional regulation.
  • To enable participants to design and pilot their own workshops, leaving with concrete templates for their local communities.
  • To connect 31 youth workers from 8 countries for peer exchange, resource sharing, and long-term collaboration.

Number of participants: 4

Ideal Participant profile:

  • Age: 18+
  • Active involvement in youth work 
  • Minimum one year of practical experience working with young people
  • Sufficient level of English

Important information:

Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.

Travel cost limits: 309€ / 417€ (Green travel) 

Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.

Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Latvia.

  • Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
  • All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
