TC Make It Happen – Tools for Empowering Youth-Led Projects

The youth exchange will take place between 8.-14.11.2026 (including travel days) in Barcelos, Portugal.
Overall goal: creating the conditions for young people to explore, decide, act and learn
Project objectives: Young people have ideas, interests and concerns about the realities around them. Yet,
turning those ideas into meaningful initiatives is not always easy.
Working language: English.
Number of participants: 2
Ideal Participant profile: youth workers, youth leaders, educators, facilitators, staff and volunteers from youth organisations, as well as other professionals actively working with young people. Participants should be interested in youth-led projects and youth participation, motivated to strengthen their facilitation and project management competences, open to intercultural learning and willing to transfer the learning gained during the activity to their local context.
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 395 € /535 € (Green travel)
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Portugal.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
