Project Organiser: COSI
The youth exchange will take place between 11th-19th of September 2025 in Busteni, Romania.
Overall goal: This project aims to support and strengthen the many ways young people are getting involved in democracy today, whether through activism, volunteering, or new forms of civic engagement. It focuses on making sure their voices are heard, their rights are protected, and that democratic systems are open and accessible to all youth.
Project objectives:
- Improve the competences of 30 youth workers’ in promoting youth participation and active citizenship by exchanging efficient tools, successful stories and attractive programs.
- Promote active citizenship and youth participation among local youngsters by developing catchy raise awareness campaigns and empowerment programs.
- Enhancing the capacity of 10 NGOs to empower youth in becoming active citizens in their local communities by developing common campaigns and international projects.

Ideal Participant profile:
- 18+
- Youth workers, volunteers, motivated young individuals
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 309€ (417€ using green travel)
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Romania.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
