Project Organiser: Valley of Joy
The Advance Planning Visit (APV) will take place between 23.3- 25.3.2026 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Overall goal:
- To strengthen young people’s critical thinking and conflict awareness in
response to societal divisions and disinformation.
Project objectives:
- Prepare team leaders of the future youth exchange for leading their national team, by providing information and answering questions.
Working language: English.
Number of participants: 1
Ideal Participant profile:
- 18+ years old
- Experience with Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges
- Experience with leading a team, strong communication and planning skills
The APV is a preliminary meeting for team leaders in order to plan a subsequent youth exchange that will take place between 20.4 – 29.4.2026 in Luoba, Skuodas disctrict, Lithuania.
Overall goal:
- To strengthen young people’s critical thinking and conflict awareness in
response to societal divisions and disinformation.
Project objectives:
- Participants will develop communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills, promoting peaceful dialogue, intercultural understanding, and active citizenship.
- The project empowers youth with practical tools to contribute to peacebuilding
in their communities and beyond.
Working language: English.
Number of participants: 5(participants) + 1(leader)
Ideal Participant profile:
- 17-25 years old
- Basic English language skills
- Interest in current events and constructive dialogue
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 309€
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Lithuania.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
