YE Wild and Well
Wild and Well was a Youth Exchange (YE) Erasmus+ project financed by the EU that happened between 27.7 and 4.8.2026. During this YE young people from age 13 to age 17 explored Estonian nature. The setting of Estonian countryside helped with reconnection to nature and mentally slowing down. The main goal of the project was to teach teenagers about what nature offers to us as humans in 21st century and how to take care of it. Equally as important was to detach young people from social media and rather improve their digital skills in areas of photography and identification of natural resources.
Goals of the project were achieved through series of daily activities, day trips and reflections. Participants completed multiple workshops focused on movement, mental wellbeing and crafts. All together 3 trips to different Estonian biomes, such as seaside, marshes and forest showcased the importance of diversity and variety of resources that nature offers. On the other hand workshops happening at the venue of the project increased digital and craft skills of youngsters through yoga, tea making and flower gathering workshops.
