MAKE YOUR OWN ENVIRONMENTAL
Project Organiser: Xeracion Valencia
The youth exchange will take place from the 22nd of September to the 5th of October in Xàtiva (Valencia), Spain.
Overall goal: To empower young people to become active creators and facilitators of environmental education activities while equipping them with the knowledge and tools to initiate their own Erasmus+ youth projects and engage in European mobility programs.
Project objectives:
- Empower the participants by giving them the space and basic knowledge to create their
own sessions of non-formal education related to environmental topics. - Promote youth participation and the entrepreneurial spirit of the participants by providing
them with the tools and knowledge to start working with the Erasmus+ Youth program. - Facilitate the national and international mobility of youth with European programs such as
Erasmus+, CES and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.
Working language: English.
Number of participants: minimum 4+1, maximum 6+1
Ideal Participant profile:
- 18+
- eager to organise environmental activities for youth back in their local communities;
- looking forward to facilitate sessions learning by doing and experiencing it (with little or no
previous experience facilitating); - who has experience or interest on the topics of environmental sustainability;
- with an open mind, adaptable to changes and ready to be out of their comfort zone;
- who enjoys meeting people from other countries to co-live in intercultural environments.
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 309€
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Spain.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
