The youth exchange will take place between 20.-27.4.2026 in Recoaro Terme, Italy.
Overall goal: To strengthen the competences of 27 youth workers from 9 partner organisations to design and facilitate offline and digital game
based learning activities in natural environments, by implementing a one-week international training course that equips participants with practical tools to combine games, outdoor education and non-formal learning in inclusive, participatory and environmentally responsible youth work practice
Project objectives:
to strengthen youth workers’ competences in game-based and experiential learning in outdoor and non-formal education
to develop facilitation, reflection and group management skills through participatory learning
to equip participants to design educational games that promote cooperation, wellbeing and environmental awareness
to foster intercultural exchange and learner-centred approaches in youth work, supported by meaningful digital tools

Number of participants: 3
Ideal Participant profile:
- Youth workers, youth leaders, trainers and facilitators (20+)
- Staff members and volunteers of youth organisations, NGOs, youth
centres and community initiatives - Participants interested in offline and digital game-based learning,
outdoor education and innovative youth work methods - 20 years old or above, legally residing in one of
the partner countries, and able to work in English at a conversational
level
Important information:
Accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Travel cost limits: 309€
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in italy.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities afterwards.
