#NormShift: Empowering Youth for Alcohol-Free and Healthy Lifestyles in the Digital Age

The training course will take place between 07.-12.12. 2025 in Košice, Slovakia.
Overall goal: To equip youth workers and leaders with innovative tools and methodologies for promoting alcohol prevention and healthy lifestyle choices among adolescents.
Training course description: During a comprehensive 4-day training program, you will explore the NormShift Toolkit, including specialized training programs, hybrid peer educator training methods, and mentorship approaches that blend online and offline peer-to-peer education. Through interactive workshops and practical sessions, you will learn how to implement youth-driven content creation, develop digital advocacy campaigns, and facilitate meaningful discussions with young people aged 15-18 on alcohol prevention. This training will provide you with ready-to-use resources, proven methodologies, and peer-exchange opportunities with professionals from across Europe, enabling you to make a lasting impact in your youth work practice. All materials will be available in your language, and you will receive comprehensive support to implement these innovative approaches in your organization and communities.

Ideal Participant profile:
- youth worker, educator, or youth leader interested in the topic
- good level of English
- IMPORTANT: Participants must do Pilot Testing of the training program in Slovakia with adolescents aged 15–18 years old in a school, youth center or other educational institution. More details about exact numbers, materials and support will be provided if you are selected as a participant.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Travel, accommodation, food, materials, and travel costs (up to the maximum allowed amount) are covered.
Extremely important: Keep all travel receipts and tickets for reimbursement, as the participant must keep the travel document to and from the destination and hand it over / send it to the project organizer according their instructions.
Insurance: Travel insurance is NOT paid by the organizers or subsequently reimbursed. Each participant is obliged to take out health insurance, which is valid in Slovakia.
- Only purchase tickets after receiving written confirmation from the organizers.
- All participants must attend all sessions and participate in dissemination activities and Pilot Testing afterwards.
