“Recycling?! Yes, it happens!”- Mládežnícka výmena (Youth Exchange)
V dňoch od 12. až do 20. júla 2021 sme sa zúčastnili mládežníckej výmeny "Recycling?! Yes, it happens!” vo Francúzskom Montamisé, ktoré bolo obklopené očarujúcou prírodou. Ubytovaní sme boli v sympatických a plne zariadených chatkách pre 4 osoby, ktoré tvorili pocit súkromia a útulnosti. Organizátori boli veľmi milí ale zväčša nás bohužiaľ delila jazyková bariéra, ktorú sa snažil odbúravať náš francúzsko-anglický prekladateľ.
Bola to ale naopak šanca naučiť sa trochu z francúzštiny. Aktivity neboli postavené tak, aby sme sa tápali v nových informáciách o recyklovaní a miestami boli monotónnejšie avšak spĺňali účel neformálneho vzdelávania. Mali sme možnosť naplno zapojiť našu kreativitu a použiť naše zručnosti v tímovej práci pri vytváraní finálnych prác na tému plasty a spotreba vody vo formách divadelných hier, básničiek alebo videí. Program bol okorenený aj výletom do krásneho neďalekého mesta Poitiers, ktoré je ocenené ako “Mesto umenia a dejín “ a do moderného zábavného parku Futuroscope, ktorý je vybavený jedinečnými kinematografickými a audiovizuálnymi technikami. Napriek niektorým nesplneným očakávaniam, projekt každého z nás svojim spôsobom obohatil a dal nám nové skúsenosti do budúcnosti.

From July 12 to July 20, 2021, we participated in the youth exchange "Recycling ?! Yes, it happens!" in Montamisé, France, a town surrounded by the forest. We were accommodated in nice and fully furnished cottages for 4 people, which created a feeling of privacy and coziness. The organizers were very nice, but unfortunately, we were mostly divided by the language barrier that our French-English translator tried to break down. On the contrary, it was a chance to learn a little French.
The activities were not built in a way that we had to grope in new information about recycling, and in some places they were more monotonous, however, they served the purpose of non-formal education. We had the opportunity to fully involve our creativity and use our skills in teamwork in creating final works on the topic of plastics and water consumption in the form of plays, poems or videos. The program was also spiced up with a trip to the beautiful nearby town of Poitiers, which has been awarded the City of Art and History, and to the modern Futuroscope theme park, which features unique cinematographic works and audiovisual techniques. Despite some unfulfilled expectations, the project enriched each of us in its own way and gave us new experience for the future.
